Job Requirements

Job Description
The Geotechnical Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of professional service proposals;
- Participating in the planning and organization of field work while respecting project timelines;
- Participating in geotechnical and environmental field work;
- Coordinating projects to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets;
- Attending internal and external meetings as required;
- Preparing technical reports in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- Collaborating with clients, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers;
- Reviewing and validating invoices from subcontractors and suppliers related to company activities;
- Applying and enforcing occupational health and safety measures;
- Contributing to business development, as assigned by management;

- 35 years of relevant geotechnical experience;
- Valid drivers license (frequent travel required);
- Bilingualism is an asset;

Job Description
The Environmental Remediation Technician will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the planning and organization of field work;
- Participating in environmental drilling activities;
- Conducting environmental monitoring of excavation and soil management work;
- Handling the transport of samples to laboratories and storage facilities;
- Communicating results to project managers and responding to inquiries;
- Providing recommendations to ensure successful project execution;
- Ensuring safe use and proper maintenance of tools and equipment;
- Collaborating effectively with team members;
- Applying occupational health and safety measures;
- Managing responsibilities on environmental sites, including communication with the project manager, following established plans, and maintaining site cleanliness;

- Participating in multidisciplinary projects;
- Coordinating and supervising field technical teams;
- Analyzing and interpreting field data;
- Preparing technical reports;
- Applying and enforcing project health and safety programs;
- Managing internal project communication as well as communication with clients and suppliers;
- Monitoring project budgets and timelines;

Job Description
Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in the growth of Génisol. Your primary mission will be to develop, structure, and expand our client portfolio while collaborating closely with our technical teams.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business relationships in the real estate, industrial, institutional, and municipal sectors;
- Identifying and qualifying opportunities in geotechnical, environmental, and remediation projects;
- Understanding clients technical challenges to propose tailored solutions;
- Participating in the preparation of service offerings and commercial proposals;
- Maintaining and strengthening long-term relationships with existing clients;
- Representing Génisol at business meetings, tenders, and networking events;
- Contributing to business development strategy and market intelligence;
- Performing other related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 45 years of business development experience in consulting engineering, geotechnical, or environmental services;
- Phase I, II, III, and IV environmental assessments;
- Soil remediation projects;
- Geotechnical services;
- Proven consultative sales and negotiation skills;
- Active professional network in the Québec region (major asset);
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with both technical and non-technical clients;
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial mindset with results-oriented approach;
- Excellent French language skills (functional English is an asset).
